D’Shawn is a proud native of the Eastern Shore, growing up here in Salisbury. After high school, he attended Salisbury University and was afforded the opportunity to start his career in finance at Bank of America located in the Upper Eastern Shore. D’Shawn immersed himself in the community, adding his expertise in numerous boards and commissions. Most noticeably, he is a Kindness Commissioner for the City of Salisbury, Executive Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of the Eastern Shore, 81st Past-President of the Salisbury Junior Chamber of Commerce, and recently elected by the citizens of the county as the Vice-Chair for the Wicomico County Democratic Central Committee. He loves spending time with his four-legged companion, Kaiser, and enjoying all the Eastern Shore has to offer. D’Shawn’s passion for helping the community aligns directly with the mission of Habitat for Humanity. He is proud to take part in the accomplishment of building homes, community, and hope.
