Megan Outten is a lifelong Wicomico resident and a Policy Manager at the Maryland Energy Administration. A graduate of Parkside High School and Salisbury University, Megan has served her community in a variety of roles focused on bringing people together and helping make Wicomico a better place to live. Formerly serving on the Salisbury City Council, she currently serves as Chair of the Wicomico County Commission for Women, a member of the City of Salisbury’s Kindness Commission, a member of the Salisbury Jaycees, and on the Board of Directors for the Friends of the Wicomico Public Library Foundation – along with being involved in several other local organizations. In 2025, Megan was named one of Maryland’s Leading Women Under 40, and in 2024 she was recognized as one of the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore’s 40 Under 40. In her spare time, she enjoys working on her stained glass projects and in the warmer months helping in the Camden Community Garden.
