Al has been in the kitchen since his early teens. Through the years he has mastered several cuisines and cooking styles. He believes in bold flavors but is partial to Cajun and Caribbean. He loves to accent meals with salsas, chutneys, and unique sauces.
Al is the Nutrition Program Manager for MAC, Inc and oversees the Meals on Wheels program for the lower Eastern Shore of Maryland. They feed over 900 senior citizens daily.
In recent years Al has taken a special interest in creating soups and stews. Stop by and try his New Orleans Gumbo at the Chefs for Habitat event, February 19, 2022 at the Wicomico County Youth and Civic Center.
