Christie’s love for tea began at a young age at a tea party hosted by McCabe Preschool in Wilmington, DE, where she learned what happens when lemon and milk are used together in tea. Many of her adult years were spent in the food and beverage industry,  growing produce organically and starting a few farmers’ markets. 

After inheriting china when a tea room in Berlin closed its doors, she continued growing her china collection and started selling loose leaf tea in 2022 at farmers’ markets and pop up events. In 2024 the tea dream took new form with the addition of a mobile iced tea bar,   which appeared at area farmers’ markets and festivals. 

Today, Belle Grove Tea Co offers loose-leaf tea, china rentals, tea party catering, tea blending services and mobile iced tea bar services for both private and public events
