Like many women, I wear several hats. Wife, Mother, Teacher, Veteran. I started baking as a hobby, but after being honorably discharged from the Navy, baking became a great stress reliever and a way to cope with life challenges. After serving so many people and the encouragement of many, Sweet Addiction was formed. I enjoy spending time in the kitchen creating new flavors and combining multiple flavors that are both unique and delicious. I look forward to making your life sweeter one delicious dessert at a time.

Sweet Addiction, LLC also offers customizations for weddings, birthdays, baby showers, and other special events. Sweet Addiction, LLC is owned by Ka’Terra Dettbarn and her sister, Chakirah Henry. I feel honored to be able to be a part of this great event. My family was a recipient of a Habitat home in 1995. It was a great experience building our home as well as helping with other homes. I remember choosing my room, once the frame was built. We made and continue to make so many memories in that home. Again, I am truly grateful to be able to help other families become homeowners!
