Like many women, I wear several hats: Wife, Mother, Teacher, and U.S. Navy Veteran. What started as a hobby became my sanctuary; after being honorably discharged, baking served as a vital stress reliever and a way to navigate life’s challenges. Driven by a passion for service and encouraged by my community, I teamed up with my sister, Chakirah Henry, to turn that passion into Sweet Addiction, LLC.

​Based in Ocean Pines, MD, our home-based bakery specializes in transforming classic desserts into gourmet cupcakes, cakes  and cookies. Together, we thrive on creating unique flavor combinations that exceed our clients’ expectations for weddings, birthdays, and corporate events.

​Participating in Chefs for Habitat is deeply personal for us. In 1995, our family was the recipient of a Habitat home. I still vividly remember the magic of choosing my bedroom once the frame was up and the pride of helping build the place where our family’s best memories were made. Today, Chakirah and I are honored to help other families achieve their dream of homeownership.
